When I hear this song “God of this city” it just reminds me that he is a sovereign GOD, he is in total control, and I believe he allows for things to happen because we need to lean towards him. We need to fully trust him even when we don’t understand what is going on and why. This song is a reminder to me that he is the hope for the hopeless, the light to the darkness and the peace to the restless,
It’s a reminder that there is so much more for him to do like gather his people and prepare them for something so much more than this, but we must humble ourselves and call out to him seek his face and many still need this awesome opportunity and come to know who Jesus is and what he did for us on the cross. Greater things are yet to come because He is our HOPE!!
